This was our first time visiting Silverstone and we was truly amazed when arriving at how big the area is.
The Silverstone Wing, situated in the heart of the famous Grand Prix track, overlooks both the start and finish lines. We were given a tour of the wing, which was a lovely opportunity for us to see the facilities, halls, breakout rooms and general space of the venue, the guys at Silverstone also took us through the routines of a Grand Prix day.
After our tour we was presented with a lovely lunch spread consisting of salmon, tai curry and other heavenly foods, the food presentation was amazing and the table setting was ideal giving us the opportunity to network between ourselves. Though the food was delicious everyone was excited to get out on the track for the driving experience.
Once down in the garage we were suited up with our helmets on and ready to go, the two cars we picked to drive were an Aston Martin and Ferrari, two spectacular cars. The drive was incredible and the Right Venues team drove surprisingly well and confidently.
Overall it was a lovely day and a memorable experience, luckily the weather was also good to us as we had quite a dry day.
