- The Hilton London Metropole conference hotel has invested £2.3 million into the refurbishment of the 354 rooms and suites in their conference wing. The “Double Double” rooms have been styled to a modern design and feature a work space with lounge area, two queen size beds, a sofa bed and two 32 inch CD TVs. The hotel which has a total of 1.054 rooms and suites has two large conference rooms each able to hold up to 1,500 delegates.
- A multi million pound project is under way at the De Vere Grand Hotel in Brighton. All 201 of the hotels rooms and suites will be upgraded along with its 11 meeting and conference suites. The latest technology will be installed into the rooms to compliment the new luxury furnishings and more syndicate space will be added. Their restaurant will be refitted and re-branded as “Caught at the Grand” and aims to become Brighton’s best fish restaurant. Offering fresh catch of the day, shellfish and diners will be able to speak to the chefs prior to ordering, to discuss their proffered dish and cooking style. Along with the lounge and bar refurbishments, the De Vere grand will also upgrade their spa and gym facilities.
