Corporate hospitality in Manchester

Corporate hospitality in Manchester

Manchester is a dynamic city famous for its musical and sporting exports, culture, shopping, and most recently its business tourism. The city’s status as a leading business tourism destination is steadily growing and is worth over £822m per annum. It is home to a number of leading conference and events venues, and at Right Venues we have first-hand experience in planning events at these excellent sites.

The Point

In March we were invited to view the new facilities at The Point; Lancashire County Cricket Club’s £12m conference and events venue. It can cater for large and small events, with spaces able to cater for groups as small as 2 or 3 people and as large as 700 (once The Pavillon has completed its redevelopment).

The National Football Museum

Another outstanding venue in Manchester is situated right next to the Right Venues office and is the biggest and best football museum in the world. The National Football Museum not only has the capacity to host up to 500 delegates for drinks receptions, but it also boasts exceptional food services in the Kaleido restaurant which is located above the museum. Having recently visited this venue myself, I would definitely recommend The National Football Museum to clients who are looking for a modern and interesting space to host their event.

The Midland Hotel

I have also recently attended an evening ball at The Midland Hotel where we were treated to a 3 course meal and entertainment during the course of the evening. The historic Edwardian hotel has 321 en-suite rooms and is an excellent venue for larger events and also smaller meetings.

Manchester Central Convention Complex

Opposite the Midland Hotel is Manchester Central Convention Complex which is Manchester’s flagship conference venue. We have recently written about its £30m refurbishment which has made this the perfect venue for numerous political party conferences and numerous other high-profile events.

De Vere Mottram Hall

The De Vere Mottram Hall in Cheshire has recently undergone a £6m refurbishment, and the 18th century Georgian country house is home to 9 meeting rooms which can hold 100 delegates, and offer excellent team-building packages.
